GALESBURG — Tuesday, April 4, 2023, is the consolidated election when Trustees of Carl Sandburg College District No. 518 will be elected. Three (3) candidates will be elected for a six-year term, beginning within 28 days of the election and ending April 2029.
Per statutes, Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2022, is the first day prospective candidates may circulate nominating petitions for signatures for this election. The first day to file nominating petitions is Monday, Dec. 12 and petitions will be accepted until the close of business hours, 5 p.m., on Monday, Dec. 19, 2022.

The Carl Sandburg College district includes the following counties in Illinois: All of Hancock, Henderson, Knox and Warren counties and parts of Fulton, Henry, McDonough, Mercer, Schuyler and Stark counties.
